Hello Sunflower families!

Though I’ve not mastered inserting a PDF newsletter to show up directly, I have mastered putting in the link to it!  In hopes the download does not take too long, I invite you to celebrate along with us the wonderful energy taking place in the Sunflower classroom and all the unique specials that San Tan offers!  There is much to love and appreciate about our school and our community!

Important Dates to Remember

  • Feb. 18th– Montessori Vision Night @ 5:30 p.m. 
  • Feb. 19th– Kinder Field Trip

  • Feb. 29th– A Night in Atlantis!
  • Feb. 3rd-6th– Book Fair
  • Mar. 4th-6th– Half Day Teacher Conference
  • Mar. 9-18th– Spring Break

Field Trip information:

There is a Montessori Field trip at the end of the year on May 5th to the Riparian Preserve.

Those Forms will go out in April.

The school wide 2nd grade field trip is on April 8th to the AZ science center.  Those permission slips will go out soon.

1st grade is going to the Mesa Arts Center on the 18th– those field trip forms went out and came back in December.

School wide Kinder will be going to the Children’s Museum on February 19th.  Those Field Trip forms have gone out and come back already.

Montessori Vision information night on February 18th, 5:30 p.m.

which will highlight the program enhancements to come next school year. If you’re wanting to know more about the Upper Elementary and/or Infant classrooms or Outdoor Environment, this is your night!

A Night in Atlantis

 February 29th at 7:00 pm

Please join us for an adult evening in the magical underwater Atlantis Kingdom, full of music, fine food, drink and art created by your favorite Montessori Students.

Tickets for the event are on sale now for $35.00 for General Admission and $60.00 For VIP Seating.

VIP tickets include:  Reserved seating, Pictures at a themed photo shoot of your child, Pictures will be printed and placed at your seats, you will also enjoy wine at your table.
